Come hang with us!
Deltaville Tap & Raw Bar truly came out of a “hold my beer” moment. Two friends got together and decided they were going to do something never done before in Deltaville — create a successful, year-round waterfront restaurant and bar. That idea needed more. We had to consider how to mitigate risks in case it didn’t work out. Understanding our strengths and knowing our gaps, we brought in additional partners.
We knew absolutely nothing about the restaurant industry — only that 9 out of 10 fail within the first 3 years. We had our idea, but now it was time to build a brand. We knew what needed to happen conceptually, but implementation was a whole different challenge.

It all began with our soft opening in April 2019 at the old CoCoMo’s location on Broad Creek. We opened with much fanfare for locals and vacationers alike. We’re open — now what? The challenges were too numerous to count: staffing, faulty equipment, roof leaks, and more. After just 10 months in business, the pandemic hit. We quickly pivoted to a take-out-only menu. Once outdoor dining became viable, things slowly became more manageable. There were many times in that first year we looked at each other and asked, “Why are we doing this?”

In December 2021, we reopened in our current location along Jackson Creek. It took some time to get our sea legs back, but we kept our heads down and stayed the course.

Today, Deltaville Tap & Raw Bar is proudly run by Ryan Hudson and General Manager Steve Kresovich. Steve has built a culture that defines who we are today. It’s always been about our people, but Steve and the team have made DT&RB a true haven for everyone who walks through our doors. For our employees and our guests, we are grateful. We look forward to continuing to provide good libations, provisions, and a laid-back atmosphere for years to come.
Thank you, Deltaville!
